Here’s a brief overview of what I typically do:
I love to start with an engagement session so I can get to know your distinctive personalities and so we can get to know each other better amd get comfortable for our big day together! … not to mention, we’ll construct killer images, however experienced in front of the camera you may feel!
An average day consists of 6-10 hours of continuous wedding day coverage… From getting ready, to the ceremony, to the reception!
On your wedding day, I start with the bride getting prepped and I capture candid moments and details that really reflect the beauty and mood of your celebration (I’ll also try to capture the groom if preparations are taking place nearby).
Next, I’ll head off to your marriage venue to record the build up to, and the ceremony itself.
Shortly after the ceremony, in addition to your “Mr. and Mrs.” portrait session, we will formally (or, if you choose, informally) document your nearest and dearest using a “must-take” list provided by you (and probably your mother-in-law!).
I then continue to document your day as it proceeds through the various stages you have planned out, including the reception, the speeches and all the other intrinsic aspects of that special day as they occur at their natural pace.
For a short period around sunset I’d hope to have some time with you for a small series of portraits when the day’s light is at its very best.
I then continue to document the celebrations as you and your guests get your groove on!
